For my final project in DES 159: Design for Understanding, we were tasked to research and analyze a public interest design issue on the topic of accessibility and propose a solution. Our objective was to address loneliness through an innovative solution—a versatile, interactive card game promoting teamwork and meaningful connections across diverse settings.

Despite its central role at UC Davis, offering a range of activities like the CoHo, study rooms, and a game room, many students are unaware of the Memorial Union's full array of amenities.
Over the span of 6 weeks, our team followed a human-centered design process to create an application that highlights what the MU has to offer and makes relevant information more accessible to students.
The end result is a user-friendly electric bicycle that makes it easy for riders to enjoy the benefits of e-bikes without feeling overwhelmed by technology. With VoltBike, riding smarter has never been easier!
